But from my understanding it's not like there's a cutoff point like your post very strongly suggested. Maybe even most, I wouldn't claim to know that. I can appreciate that this is an issue for some or possibly a lot people. And neither of them got any of these issues. I got two computers here, one with ATI and one with Nvidia. My old Matrox Milennium worked fine back when that was being used, all my ATI Radeon and NVidia Geforce cards I've had since this even became an issue some five years ago has since worked. I still haven't found any cards that I've used that hasn't worked just fine with the Quake 2 engine. ![]() There was a while there about 4-5 years ago where Quake 2 engine games had an issue on Nvidia and ATI systems because of the strings. But your claim made everyone confused because it doesn't correspond to the facts as we see them. ![]() Quasar: I respect you too and it was not my intent to derail your thread or anything.
